Most of a collection spends its life waiting. In a drawer, in a safe, in the box it arrived in. Chronos 1907 exists for that part of ownership — the storage, the winding, the travel, the small maintenance that keeps a movement running and a case unscratched.
Chronos 1907 is an online store specializing in watch accessories: watch boxes, watch winders, travel rolls, stands, straps and care tools, alongside a small selection of quartz and automatic watches.
The store is owned and operated by Millenium Brands LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. We sell directly to customers through this website and ship worldwide. We do not operate a physical showroom or a retail location, and we do not sell through third-party resellers.
The wristwatch was not always taken seriously. Through most of the nineteenth century it was treated as ornament — a bracelet with a dial. A serious man carried a pocket watch, on a chain, in a waistcoat.
That changed in the opening years of the twentieth. The wristwatch left the drawing room for the cockpit, the trench and the open road, and in doing so it stopped being jewellery and became an instrument — something worn, used, wound, knocked about, and repaired rather than merely admired.
We took our name from that turn. Everything we sell exists to serve it. A winder, a box, a travel roll, a set of spring bars: none of these objects make any sense for something you only look at. They exist because a mechanical watch is a machine that keeps running when you take it off, and a machine that runs needs to be kept.
We don't manufacture. We select — and we're specific about what that means.
We work with established manufacturers and order samples before anything is listed. A product enters the catalogue only after we have handled it and checked the things that are invisible in a photograph:
Products that don't pass are not listed. That is the entire mechanism behind our catalogue — no more mysterious than that, and we'd rather describe it plainly than dress it up.
Our manufacturing partners are based in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey and China. We work with each of them directly. Where we are able to confirm the country a specific item is made in, it is stated on that item's product page. Where we cannot confirm it, we say nothing rather than guess.
We don't treat origin as a selling point in itself. A well-made box from Turkey is worth more than a poorly made one from anywhere else, and we would rather you judged the product than the flag on the label.
A watch box is a storage decision, and storage decisions are personal. How many slots you actually need, whether a winder is required at all for your specific movement, what a safe adds over a locked box — these questions have real answers that depend on your collection, and the answer is often "you need less than you think."
That is the kind of thing we write about on this site: collection room tours, storage layouts, how collectors with ten watches organize differently from collectors with fifty, and when a winder genuinely helps versus when it just adds wear. We'd rather sell you the right item once than the expensive item twice.

We would rather set expectations correctly than optimistically.
Shipping. Free worldwide shipping on every order, with no minimum. Orders are prepared within 2 business days and are in transit for 6 to 10 business days, for a total of 8 to 12 business days. A tracking link is sent as soon as your parcel leaves our fulfilment partner.
Customs and duties. We ship on a DDP basis — Delivered Duty Paid. Import duties and taxes are paid by us. You will not be asked for an additional payment on delivery.
Returns and guarantee. You have 30 days from delivery to request a return, exchange or refund. Items must be unused and in their original condition. Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Full terms are on our Refund Policy page.
Prices. Prices are displayed in your local currency where supported. The price shown at checkout is the final price you pay.
If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, contact us with your order number and we will resolve it.
We answer every message. There is no phone tree and no ticket queue.
